Donegal’s Roisin Hegarty will face Tetiana Zvenihorodska of Ukraine in the 63 kg category at the European Under-15 Boxing Championships in Budva, Montenegro, on Saturday.
Co-Captain of the Irish team, Roisin Hegarty was a 3-2 split decision winner over Turkey’s Ivana Kilci in their semi final – Judges scored the bout 27: 30, 29: 28, 27: 30, 29: 28: 27: 30.
Team Ireland will bring home a remarkable 13 medals from the championships.
