The two polling booths on Aranmore Island will now close at 5pm this evening.
Polling at Leabgarrow and Aphort National Schools opened at 10 o’clock this morning, and were to have closed 7 o’clock.
However, as concern grows regarding the weather this evening, that’s now been brought forward to 5 o’clock.

Polling opens on the other islands at 11am and closes at 3pm.
