Update – The Police Service of Northern Ireland can confirm the name of the man who died following a road traffic collision in Coleraine in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 8th November.
He was 24-year-old Jamie Mitchell from the Portrush area.

A man in his 20s has died after he was struck by a car in County Derry.
It happened at around 1.20 this morning in the Dunhill Road area of Coleraine.
Police and other emergency services attended, but the man died at the scene.
The Dunhill Road was closed for some time but has since reopened.
Collision Investigation Unit detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has video footage to come forward.
