Cathaoirleach of Inishowen Municipal District, Martin McDermott has reflected on a busy year for the areas within Inishowen.
Describing it as a year of good things and fighting to complete projects, Cllr McDermott highlighted the Tus Nua project progressing to tender stage.
The regeneration plans have been in motion for quite a number of years now with €9.6m allocated to deliver a new multi-use hub in Carndonagh.
He also recognise the work that has went into addressing the issues surrounding Defective concrete blocks in the Municipal district, admitting there is more work to do in 2026.
He has also called for more investment into tourism for the area as it is a big employment sector for the peninsula.
