Justice Minister agrees to meet Creeslough victims’ families


Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan has agreed to meet the families of victims who lost their lives in the Creeslough Tragedy

This was confirmed today by Donna Harper, whose teenage daughter Leona died in the blast.

A delegation is expected to travel to Dublin in the near future for discussions.

Ms Harper says she was delighted to receive the email:

100% Redress Councillor Tomas Sean Devine has also welcomed the move, having lobbied for the visit to happen.

Cllr Devine says he hopes that the council will now follow suit and meet with the families, as per a motion he and Cllr Frank McBrearty backed at a meeting on Monday:
