A Strabane Cllr has received support for a proposal that will ensure funding for the Strabane Drama Festival in 2027.
Recently, the festival was denied funding by Derry City and Strabane District Council on the grounds of a lack of funds available.
Cllr Brian Harte brought this proposal, which also includes a call to support the wider Arts sector in the town.
He says council officers are now working to see what funding can be found:
