English in Morocco for Continental Cup

Letterkenny’s Mark English takes on the World’s best in Morocco this weekend.
European 800m bronze medallist English (UCD AC) has been selected to represent Europe at the IAAF Continental Cup in Marrakech.
After his heroics in Zurich, English returned to action last weekend in Rieti where he finished  seventh in a time of 1.45.71.
The field in Morocco brings together the year’s best 800m athletes including current World number one Nigel Amos of Botswana who has run 1.42.45 this year to lead the rankings.
Reigning European Champion Adam Kszczot of Poland is also in the field.
