Buncrana inspector promoted to Superintendent in Cavan

Gardai have announced a number of appointments and allocations of Chief Superintendents and Superintendents across the country. Locally, there has been one change. Inspector Sean Grant from Buncrana Garda station has been promoted to Superintendent to be based at Cavan Garda Station. The appointment will take effect from October 20th.

Teenager assaulted in Letterkenny

Investigations are continuing after a teenager was assaulted this week in Letterkenny. The attack took place at around 5pm on Tuesday on the Ramelton Road. The male teenager was hospitalised for treatment to injuries sustained. Gardai say no arrests have been made but investigations are ongoing.
