8,071 additional cases of Covid-19 confirmed

8,071 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed today. The Department of Health has been notified of 3,300 PCR-confirmed cases. In addition, 4,771* people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal yesterday. As of 8am today, 616 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 48 are in ICU.

5,919 new Covid cases confirmed today

5,919 new Covid19 cases have been confirmed today. There are 2,277 PCR-confirmed cases, while 3,642 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal. Figures for the weekend have also been released including 6,782 for Saturday and 5,157 for Sunday. 610 patients are in hospital, 47 of those are in ICU.
