Police in West Tyrone say a 31-year-old man has been charged with offences, including grievous bodily harm with intent, and is due to appear at Strabane Magistrates’ Court today. The man was arrested on Monday, following a serious assault on a male at a property in Beechmount Village in Strabane earlier that morning.

Derry City and Strabane District Council has launched an eight-week public consultation on its Draft Anti-Poverty Action Plan. It remains open until March 31st.
