Drugs and money seized in Strabane

Police in Strabane have seized suspected Class B drugs worth an estimated £20,000. Following the seizure during an operation on Monday of last week, a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences.  £4,000 in cash was also seized. The man has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

14,549 new Covid cases confirmed today

  14,549 new cases of Covid19 have been confirmed today. There are 5,962 PCR-confirmed cases, while 8,587 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal. 1,605 patients are in hospital, which is a decrease of 19 since yesterday. There are 50 people in ICU, which is down by 4.
