8,071 additional cases of Covid-19 confirmed

8,071 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed today. The Department of Health has been notified of 3,300 PCR-confirmed cases. In addition, 4,771* people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal yesterday. As of 8am today, 616 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 48 are in ICU.

5,919 new Covid19 cases have been confirmed today. There are 2,277 PCR-confirmed cases, while 3,642 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.
