Gardaí in Letterkenny, seized suspected cocaine, cannabis, and cash during a search operation as part of Operation Tara. The Donegal Divisional Drugs Unit, with assistance from the Armed Support Unit, executed a search warrant at a property. The seized drugs are estimated to have a street value of €2,800 for cocaine and €1,200 for cannabis.

ESB Networks say as of 1 o’clock  this afternoon, approximately 8,500 customers are without power across Donegal following widespread and extensive damage as a result of Storm Éowyn. A house has been sealed off in Letterkenny today following reports of human remains being located on the site. Gardai are conducting the search at Leck Cottages.
